Nurse Clinician

Your Opportunity:

Looking for strong, experienced RN for our evening nurse clinician role. Must have charge nurse experience and have strong leadership skills. Must be able to work independently and as a team player. Currently this position is 1500 to 2315 - Monday to Friday but this may change based on the operational needs of the unit.

Description:

As a Nurse Clinician (NC), you will be responsible for the coordination of an interprofessional team, in the provision of quality patient (client, resident) care in order to meet the operational priorities and requirements within a clinical setting. You will use an integrative leadership approach in assisting, planning, implementing and evaluating care needs, while assuming responsibility for staff assignments, patient flow and clinical resources.

You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Must have strong RN skills, strong leadership skills, must have medical and surgical background. Skills, knowledge and experience will be considered when awarding this position. Must have charge nurse experience or assistant head nurse experience. Must be able to handle scheduling of staff when needed.

Prefer RN with Lethbridge Hemodialysis experience.
