Position: Clinical Instructor for Nursing Programs
Lethbridge Polytechnic is hiring a Clinical Instructor for its Practical Nurse and Bachelor of Nursing Programs from January to June 2026. This role focuses on fostering effective student learning and supervising clinical placements.
In your capacity as a Casual Clinical Instructor, you will supervise eight nursing students, evaluate their performance, and collaborate with the Practice Coordinator. This position emphasizes evidence-informed practices and innovative teaching strategies to create an enriching learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and evaluate nursing students' clinical performance

• Participate effectively in off-campus clinical placements

• Apply innovative teaching strategies to boost learning

• Provide feedback on clinical and written assignments

• Attend team meetings twice a semester for collaboration
Requirements:

• LPN or RN designation with relevant nursing degree

• Current registration with CLPNA or CARNA

• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience

• Ability to work independently in small groups

• Capacity to perform physical duties like patient lifts
