Position: Full-Time Nurse Practitioner in Cardiology
Join the Chinook Regional Hospital team as a Nurse Practitioner in Cardiology. Deliver comprehensive care for heart patients while collaborating with seasoned cardiologists.

This role tasks you with using advanced nursing and medical competencies to meet diverse patient needs. Your work will involve managing treatment plans and participating in quality improvement initiatives that enhance the delivery of care. You’ll leverage your skills in health promotion, diagnostics, and follow-up care within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and manage care

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary

• Collaborate on patient care strategies with healthcare providers

• Implement quality improvement measures and evaluations

• Engage in cardiac health education for patients and families

Requirements:

• Must possess a Master’s degree from an approved Nurse Practitioner program

• Active CRNA registration required

• Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider certification

• Familiarity with Connect Care and MS Office Suite

• Experience in cardiac health interventions and assessments
