Position: Registered Nurse in PACU with AHS
Join Alberta Health Services as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthetic Care Unit at Chinook Regional Hospital. Provide vital care to patients while ensuring their recovery and safety.

In this part-time position, you will use your extensive experience in Acute Surgical Nursing to deliver efficient, comprehensive care. Your expertise will allow you to work independently in the PACU environment, handling both planned and emergency surgical cases. Engage with patients and families effectively while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and implement patient care plans in PACU

• Use clinical judgment for acute adult and pediatric care

• Collaborate seamlessly with healthcare team professionals

• Conduct on-call responsibilities as necessary

• Maintain high standards of patient safety and support

Requirements:

• Active registration with College of Registered Nurses of Alberta

• At least 3 years of Acute Surgical Nursing experience

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• Strong interpersonal communication abilities

• Capability to manage stress in fast-paced environments
