Surgical Suite Registered Nurse Position

In this full-time Registered Nurse role, you will be responsible for patient care management under the supervision of the OR Manager and Charge Nurse. You will utilize critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills, ensuring safe, patient-centered care. Take a leadership role while advocating for patients and addressing their needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care in the surgical suite

• Act as a team leader or charge nurse as needed

• Conduct nursing processes through critical thinking

• Teach and counsel patients and families on care plans

• Support an integrated approach to health promotion

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited nursing program

• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Strong assessment and communication skills

• Minimum 3 years recent surgical suite experience preferred
