Continuing Care Licensed Practical Nurse

Deliver compassionate resident care as a Licensed Practical Nurse with strong assessment skills and interdisciplinary collaboration. Support changing needs in continuing care.

Reporting to the Resident Care Manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse manages daily care delivery while motivating and empowering the team. The position applies the nursing process through individualized assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Care reflects Covenant Care’s mission, vision, values, and ethical traditions.

• Manage day-to-day delivery of resident care
• Motivate and empower the care team
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Address changing resident needs through ongoing nursing processes
• Support residents, families, and visitors during end-of-life journeys

• Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse Program
• Current College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta registration
• Current CPR, First Aid, or equivalent certification
• Strong critical assessment and active listening skills
• Knowledge of continuing care and difficult behaviors
