As a Veterinarian, you will combine clinical practice and strategic consulting to support cattle producers in enhancing herd health and operational sustainability. This position emphasizes your ability to diagnose and treat common bovine conditions while also advising clients on advanced herd management. Your direct interactions with clients will foster trust and partnership as you work collaboratively for optimum outcomes in cattle production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform field surgeries and complex health examinations

• Monitor health through digital and in-person assessments

• Discuss protocols and findings with producers

• Collaborate with a team to devise health strategies

• Conduct training for farm staff on health procedures

Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree

• Licensure with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association

• Substantial experience with beef cattle production

• Proficient in herd health management data

• Full Class 5 Driver's License
