Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. This role will ensure operational objectives for their safety and quality assurance programs are met by completing audits, identifying issues, and implementing change. If you have a knack for making sure things stay on track and are up to standard, this could be the job for you!

Compensation &
Hours:
• The rate of pay will be $20 - $25/hr., depending on experience
• This is a full-time and temporary position
Position Summary:
• Overseeing day-to-day food safety programs; monitoring and assigning tasks to meet quality assurance needs
• Planning for resources required, setting goals, and reporting on project progress
• Ensuring compliance through educational presentations and effective communication strategies
• Assisting in managing the safety program in collaboration with the external safety consultant
• Auditing systems and procedures for gaps; proposing plans for improvement or overseeing corrective action
• Serving as the safety liaison with external clients for projects and supplying documentation
Required Qualifications:
• Experience in Quality Control, Food Safety, or a related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
Bonus Points For:
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
