Position: Food Safety Supervisor at McCain Foods
Location: Coaldale

Lead food safety initiatives with McCain Foods as a Senior Supervisor in Coaldale, Alberta. Focus on sanitation programs, hygienic practices, and team oversight.

As a Senior Supervisor in Food Safety and Quality, you will guide sanitation and GMP compliance in the factory. This role requires expertise in food safety and sanitation management to ensure that products are manufactured in a safe environment. Your leadership will be pivotal in training staff and fostering a culture of compliance and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee factory sanitation programs for compliance

• Manage development of SSOPs for hygiene practices

• Lead HACCP and Food Safety teams on risk assessments

• Direct internal audit activities with cross-functional teams

• Ensure adherence to certification standards like AIB & BRC

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Microbiology, Food Science, or related field

• 4+ years of supervisory experience in food sanitation

• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations

• AIB/ASI or professional sanitation training preferred

• Completed pest control training is a plus
