As a Research Associate, you will lead the Niitsitapi pod language project while coordinating essential research activities.
Your role will involve managing publications, onboarding new team members, and ensuring communication within the Abundant Intelligences project. Work closely with the Indigenous Research Coordinator and contribute meaningfully to community-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead language project within the Niitsitapi pod
• Organize research mobilization and publication efforts
• Liaise with Elders and community partners
• Supervise research assistants and manage meetings
• Ensure deadlines for reports are met
Requirements:
• Interest in interdisciplinary research approaches
• Strong ties to Blackfoot culture preferred
• Exceptional multitasking abilities required
• Understanding of language-related research or AI is a plus
• Preference for U of L graduate students
