The ideal candidate will participate in the Research Affiliate Program at the Lethbridge Research and Development Centre. You will gain practical skills in soil sampling, laboratory methods, and project management. Your research will support valuable insights for agricultural practices and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate soil microbial diversity in dryland systems
• Perform field experiments on irrigated and non-irrigated lands
• Analyze scientific data using statistical software R
• Develop scientific reports based on findings
• Engage with agricultural stakeholders to present research
Requirements:
• Full-time Master's student at the University of Lethbridge
• Laboratory or field research experience required
• Background in soil science or environmental microbiology
• Proficiency in data analysis and communication
• Eligibility as a Canadian citizen or resident
