Customer Service Representatives are the first point of contact for customers and strive to ensure that each customer has a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include operating cash registers and handling money, providing customers with information about products offered in the store, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

- To serve and learn the immediate needs of customers and offer honest and sincere advice, as well as welcoming them to the Homes Alive community.
- Operate cash registers and accurately handle cash.
- Maintain stock on the shelves, communicate product details for your section (e.g., price tags, sales signs), and ensure shelves are clean and faced to provide a high-quality shopping experience.
- Self-initiate service to co-workers and leaders to assist with projects or tasks and foster a culture of service and community.
- Complete routine tasks specified in checklists and follow proper system procedures for efficiency, communication, and inventory accuracy.
- Take initiative to learn and develop skills or knowledge within Homes Alive to grow as a servant leader.
Each day as a Customer Service Representative involves helping customers find pet supplies, providing information about pet care and nutrition, and processing transactions. The role also includes keeping the store clean and organized and ensuring shelves are stocked. You may interact with dogs and cats in-store and may hand out treats as appropriate.
Schedule- Full-time Customer Service Representatives are scheduled to work a minimum of 32 hrs/week and up to 40 hrs/week. Shifts may be morning, afternoon, or evening, Monday to Sunday.
- Shifts are determined at the discretion of the Store Manager.
$16.00/hr.
