Deliver attentive customer service as a Sobeys Sales and Service Clerk while accurately processing purchases and handling multiple payment methods.
Sobeys Inc. seeks a customer service-oriented clerk supporting checkout operations and attractive, well-maintained work spaces. You will scan items, verify prices, process payments, balance registers, and bag purchases according to established standards. The work requires communication, energy, and pressure management.
Key Responsibilities:- Enter or scan customer-selected items accurately
- Handle cash, debit cards, cheques, and deposits
- Balance cash registers and meet productivity standards
- Bag items and provide attentive customer service
- Maintain clean work areas and uniforms
- Customer service-oriented approach
- Cash register system knowledge is a major asset
- High school diploma is a valuable asset
- Availability for various shifts and overtime
- Ability to stand and lift up to 20kg
