Team Lead Security Representative

Join the University of Lethbridge as a full-time Security Representative Team Lead. Lead a dedicated team while enhancing campus safety through effective patrols and investigations.

As the Security Representative Team Lead, you will monitor safety and security on campus while guiding a team of Security Representatives.

Your role includes overseeing patrols, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, all while fostering a supportive environment. Engagement with diverse individuals in challenging situations will be frequent, highlighting the importance of a professional demeanor and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and educate a team of Security Representatives

• Conduct patrols and manage investigations for safety

• Collaborate on training development with Security Services Manager

• Ensure adherence to safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures

• Assist campus community with traffic control and safety inquiries

Requirements:

• 1-2 years in security or related field

• Knowledge of Alberta Security Services Act

• Proficient in Office 365 and security systems

• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

• Hold valid First Aid/CPR Certification
