Our Southern Alberta Branch is looking for a Lethbridge based Security Alarm Technician to join their team. The right candidate will be able to complete high quality installations, service work & maintain client equipment along with completing renovations and programming for our customers. The expectation is that the above would be completed while you are providing superior customer service.

• Coordinate, install and program systems (alarm, access control and CCTV) as per the customer’s specifications
• Perform Service work, ULC Inspections, Installations, Verification duties as assigned by the Security Coordinator
• Coordinate with Sales Representatives and Security Coordinators
• Work to meet project estimation and deadlines
• Flexibility to work different shifts as required
• Frequent out of town travel is a requirement of the role
• Stay up to date on current alarm technology.
• Networking and programming as required.
• Must be able to complete out of town work (including overnight stays), on call work and overtime as required
• Other duties as assigned.

• Electrical training up to a journeyperson Electrician level is preferred.
• Computer and network knowledge to set up systems
• Basic understanding of electrical code and requirements
• Minimum 3 years of experience within a similar role
• A valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean record
• Knowledge of Access Control, Alarms and CCTV systems

• Highly organized and able to work under pressure
• Proven analytical and critical thinking skills combined with common sense
