Position: Outreach and Security Job Wellness

In this role with the Lethbridge Wellness Shelter and Stabilization Unit, you will engage with unsheltered individuals, using your skills to manage crises and navigate social services. Candidates should possess 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in high-stress settings related to health care or homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage and support unsheltered individuals

• De-escalate mental health crises effectively

• Facilitate access to community resources

• Maintain thorough documentation of client needs

• Apply trauma-informed practices across interactions
Requirements:

• Education in related fields, experience preferred

• Valid security license & first aid training preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Resilience in stressful and unpredictable environments

• Proven leadership and conflict resolution abilities
