Palliser School Division Youth Counsellor

Make a difference as a Youth Counsellor with Wood's Homes in Lethbridge. This full-time role involves providing targeted support to youth aged 12 to 19 as a Youth Systems Navigator.

This position focuses on collaborating with Palliser School Division to address youth's mental health and daily living needs through one-to-one navigation and ongoing support. You will leverage your expertise to facilitate case management and develop training on the latest community trends. Your impact will extend to families, ensuring accessible resources for young people in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with community service providers for integrated support

• Perform case management and systems navigation for youth

• Provide outreach to youth, families, and schools

• Develop rapport through individual support meetings

• Maintain safe environments and proper records

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Social Sciences

• 2-4 years of youth work experience

• CPR and First Aid certification required

• Training in trauma-informed interventions needed

• Valid class 5 driver's license and transportation
