This role at Wood’s Homes focuses on providing comprehensive family support services directly to children and their families. You will advocate for families, offer parent skills training, and ensure crisis intervention when necessary. Your involvement includes case management, collaboration with community resources, and attending supervision and review meetings for effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete assessments to establish goals collaboratively
• Advocate and support families in building resource networks
• Provide training and counselling to parents
• Address crisis situations for family safety
• Participate in case reviews and team meetings
Requirements:
• Degree in Human Sciences or related field
• 2-4 years’ experience with children and families
• Preferred experience in family support and case management
• Valid non-GDL class 5 driver’s license
• Demonstrate personal suitability for the role
