Elevate the well-being of youth with Closer To Home Community Services as an overnight support staff in Coaldale, Alberta. Provide awake supervision and develop empowering relationships every night.

This full-time, permanent role focuses on supporting children and youth in a community group home. Your responsibilities include implementing a trauma-informed approach while managing crises and supporting daily routines. With the Teaching Family Model, you’ll foster stability and growth among residents, ensuring they thrive in their community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hourly room checks for safety monitoring

• Address unusual nighttime activities and emergencies

• Utilize trauma-informed strategies for crisis management

• Assist with cooking and household tasks

• Support youth with their emotional and physical needs

Requirements:

• Experience with trauma-informed care preferred

• Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license and personal vehicle

• Clear Police Information Check required

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Willingness to work varied schedules, including nights
