This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned and collaborative Java developer to support the Internal Logistics Applications Team. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects. The successful candidate will work through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), focusing on developing new features, uplifting existing systems, resolving issues and incidents, and supporting internal stakeholders. It is a contract position with potential for extension, offering a competitive pay rate and a dynamic teamwork environment.

• Develop high-quality, scalable frontend applications using Angular, Type Script, and Java.
• Design and implement robust backend microservices with Java, focusing on API integration and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Provide technical support to internal clients, troubleshoot issues, and incorporate user feedback into development.
• Utilize tools such as Spring Boot, Redis, and Kafka for efficient caching, messaging, and system integration.
• Ensure database management using Postgre
  
  SQL or MySQL, with optional experience in Web Sphere.

• 8+ years of experience in Java and Angular development.
• Strong proficiency in the Spring framework, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and SOAP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong experience with Postgre
  
  SQL and Oracle databases.
• General understanding and experience with networking and TCP/IP concepts
• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment and delivering iterative solutions.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
