Position: Highway Screed Operator at Ledcor
Location: Taber

Be a part of Ledcor's pioneering highway construction team in Alberta as a Screed Operator. We're seeking a safety-focused individual with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

In this role, you will operate the screed, optimizing both manual and automatic controls to achieve quality paving. Your experience will be critical in monitoring equipment, ensuring safety measures, and collaborating for efficient project execution. With Ledcor, you will contribute to various construction projects, maintaining high standards throughout all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the screed and manage operations

• Regularly perform equipment maintenance and tonnage control

• Work in collaboration with other operators

• Set and verify screed angles and depths accurately

• Ensure even asphalt distribution across roads

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in highway construction as a Screed Operator

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and handling physical demands

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history

• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
