Class 1 Driver

Select is partnering with our client to recruit a reliable and experienced Class 1 Delivery Driver to handle deliveries and pickups of building materials in Fort Macleod and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable operating step-deck trailers, enjoys time on the road, and takes pride in safe and efficient driving.

• The rate of pay will be $28–$30/hr, depending on experience
• Full‑time position
• Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays required
• Occasional overnight trips may be required

• Deliver and pick up materials safely and on time
• Operate Class 1 vehicles, including step‑deck trailers when required
• Secure loads and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
• Communicate with dispatch and customers as needed
• Represent the company professionally at job sites and on the road

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license
• Previous experience in delivery or transportation roles
• Strong understanding of load securement and safety practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays and overnight trips
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and customer service skill

• Experience operating step‑deck trailers
• Experience delivering construction or building materials
• Familiarity with local and regional routes
