Become a part of First Student's mission as a Driver Trainer in Taber, AB. This full-time position offers seasoned drivers the chance to mentor and train new school bus drivers while promoting safety standards.

In this pivotal role, you will provide classroom instruction and hands-on training, enhancing the driver pipeline and experience. Your leadership will contribute significantly to a culture centered around safety and excellence, helping to prepare a new generation of drivers. Engage in ongoing performance evaluations to ensure skill development and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver training sessions for new and existing drivers

• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate training records

• Coach drivers on safety, professionalism, and confidence

• Support onboarding processes for new driver candidates

• Promote safety initiatives within the organization

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 or 2 license with endorsements

• Minimum of 2 years school bus driving experience

• Clean driver abstract, free of recent violations

• Excellent communication and mentoring skills

• Proven commitment to safety in the driving environment
