Position: First Student Bus Service Employee Role

Become a Bus Service Employee at First Student, focused on maintaining and fueling school and commercial buses. This role is pivotal for ensuring operational efficiency in bus dispatch.

In this Service Employee position, you'll work closely with the Maintenance Department to maintain fuel and perform light maintenance on buses. Responsibilities include recording data accurately, ensuring timely bus operations, and adhering to safety protocols. You'll play a key role in keeping buses ready for daily transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check parking and dispatch buses on time

• Re-position buses for traffic flow within the yard

• Complete Bulk Fuel Receiving Reports and mileage logs

• Ensure accurate readings before and after fuel deliveries

• Conduct light maintenance checks on buses

Requirements:

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED

• Familiarity with bus maintenance and operations

• Strong willingness to learn maintenance techniques

• Background check necessary for employment
