Become a key player in road maintenance as an Equipment Operator Truck Driver with the Municipal District of Taber, serving from June through September 2026. Focus on graveling operations and contributing to public works safety.

In this essential role within the Public Works Department, you will assist with loading and spreading gravel while operating both light and heavy construction equipment. Your responsibilities will also include preventative maintenance and adherence to municipal safety procedures. Your contribution will support ongoing municipal infrastructure projects and enhance community safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 1 trucks for gravel hauling operations

• Perform inspections and report any equipment defects

• Complete routine maintenance on all assigned vehicles

• Collaborate with mechanics on equipment servicing

• Document equipment usage and maintenance activities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Class 1 Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement required

• At least three years’ experience with Class 1 vehicles
