Equipment inspection and customer service define this Equipment Associate position at United Rentals, supporting branch operations and rental readiness. A valid driver’s license is required.
As an Equipment Associate, you will perform manual tasks supporting service technicians, sales staff, and other branch personnel. Your work helps meet customer needs through equipment preparation, loading, demonstrations, and deliveries. The position is safety sensitive and requires careful attention.
Key Responsibilities:- Check returned equipment for damage, hours, mileage, and fuel
- Inspect safety decals, compliance, and overall equipment condition
- Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area
- Load, unload, and prepare rental equipment
- Demonstrate equipment and drive delivery trucks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Effective communication and multitasking skills
- Strong teamwork and safety attention
- Ability to lift items up to 45 pounds frequently
Support United Rentals customers through equipment inspection, preparation, delivery, and dependable branch teamwork.
