Purpose of the RoleSupport production by making sure the right materials are received, stored, picked, and delivered accurately and on time.
What Success Looks LikeA strong Warehouse Technician:
- Keeps production supplied with the materials they need
- Picks and delivers parts accurately and efficiently
- Maintains accurate inventory and storage locations
- Receives and puts away materials correctly
- Keeps the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Operates forklifts and material‑handling equipment safely
- Identifies shortages, damage, or inventory issues before they impact production
- Takes ownership and looks for ways to improve material flow
- Pick, stage, move, and deliver materials
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities
- Complete inventory transactions accurately
- Put materials away in the correct locations
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy
- Maintain organized warehouse and staging areas
- Complete equipment inspections and follow safety procedures
- Communicate material issues quickly and clearly
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and able to prioritize
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Forklift or warehouse experience is an asset
