• Assumes the role of classroom supervisor if a certificated substitute teacher is not available to cover a single-day teacher absence.
• They are supervised by a school administrator regularly throughout the day. Casual Instructional Replacement Personnel will not be used in consecutive days in the same classroom unless no other certificated substitute teacher is available.
• Present the learning activity prepared by the classroom teacher.
• Classroom Supervisors do not assess, plan lessons, instruct nor contact parents about concerns;
• Supervise students and maintain an environment that is conducive to student learning;
• Documenting the progress of the daily plan to the supervising administrator;
• Responsible for other duties assigned by the supervising administrator.

• Degree other than Education;
  Preferred
• Post-secondary diplomas, or certificates
• Current Palliser School Division Certified Educational Assistants.

• Full Day: $175
• Half Day $87.50
• FULL DAY: 7 HOURS HALF DAY: 3.5 HOURS anything over 3.5 hours will be paid a full day.
