- The working week is 38.5 hours on either a day or a back shift
- Backshift has an additional shift allowance, as does night shift.
- Overtime available and paid at a premium rate.
Our client offers additional benefits including, 30 days holiday entitlement and Pension contribution.
Duties of the Wood Machinist:- Cutting timber to different lengths
- Producing moldings, to fit customer specifications
- Working from drawings
- Keeping a clean and tidy work space
- Adhering to health and Safety
- Must hold City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in wood machinery
- Experience in a workshop environment
- Experience working as a wood machinist.
