STR Behavioral Health’s premier mental health and addiction treatment center located in Levittown. The programs we offer include detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient care with licensed recovery housing. The approach at our treatment centers is firmly rooted in individualized, person-centered care to help clients uncover the “why” behind their disorders and help them build foundational relationships that help answer the “how” in moving forward.
We work closely with every client to create personalized, high-quality treatment plans that cater to their specific needs and increase their chances of success. Our clinical team also meets regularly to adjust each treatment plan as the client progresses through treatment. Additionally, we work closely with each client’s family and other stakeholders to help people thrive in recovery.
HOURS: 7:30-3:30 Sunday’s and 3:30-11:30 Monday-Thursday

Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) interact with clients throughout the shift, assists and supports clients with functionally needs. Behavioral Health Technicians are responsible for managing the daily milieu of the facility, ensuring the safety of clients, and maintaining a therapeutic environment. BHTs are expected to familiarize themselves with the histories and needs of the clients and be capable of identifying cues and behaviors that may indicate a change in clients’ status or condition.
Position is responsible for documenting in the client records and communicating proactively with clinical team members and supervisor(s).
Within the organization: Maintains frequent and close working relationships with program staff and facility team members throughout the organization.
Outside the organization: Initiates and maintains strong professional relationships with clients and families, clinical providers, referral partners and vendors, as needed.
Position Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities- Conducts client drug screening, pregnancy tests, and breathalyzers, as necessary.
- Collaborates with clinical team to facilitate client education groups.
- Reacts therapeutically in crisis situations.
