Overview

Blue Pearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, PA is hiring an extraordinary Overnight Veterinary Receptionist. Veterinary Client Service experience preferred.

• Greet and make friendly eye contact every time our hospital entry door opens to offer the individual warm and professional acknowledgement.
• Offer a friendly smile, strong eye contact and an approachable demeanor.
• Listen compassionately and speak clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the telephone.
• Assess each client’s and pet’s needs upon arrival and determine if the status is a “stat” or a standard emergency.
• Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
• Confirm all appointments in advance, ensuring clients receive accurate information about preparing their pet for the appointment.
• Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients in a compassionate and discreet manner.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and service agencies during handling of pet remains by ensuring a complete, accurate, and compassionate process.

• Rate: $18.00 - $29.00 per hour (dependent on experience and advancement).
• Shifts:
  
  4 x 10‑hour shifts – 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
• Weekends required.
• Shift differentials:
• Mon‑Fri, 6 PM‑8 AM = $3.50
• Sat‑Sun, 6 PM‑8 AM = $5.00
• Sat‑Sun, 8 AM‑6 PM = $3.50
