Overview
Do you want to help improve the lives of high‑risk victims of domestic abuse? If so, you may be well suited to the role of Multi‑Agency Assessment Conference (MARAC) Coordinator. A MARAC is a multi‑agency meeting that produces safety plans for individuals and their children who have been identified as at high risk of serious harm or homicide from domestic abuse.
East Sussex holds two MARAC meetings every week.
As a MARAC Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative support, accurately recording the information shared at MARAC meetings. The role involves reading, listening and documenting in a written format. You will work with representatives from a range of agencies as part of the East Sussex Domestic Abuse Sexual Violence / Abuse & Violence Against Women and Girls Team. You will receive support from a small and dedicated team and will be offered six weekly clinical supervision sessions.

Record meeting minutes and key actions accurately and promptly. Follow up on action items and ensure that safety plans are clearly documented. Coordinate with other agencies to streamline communication and support the safety of individuals and children.
QualificationsWe are looking for candidates who:
- Are proactive.
- Have high attention to detail to accurately record a fast‑paced MARAC meeting.
- Have a commitment to improving the response to victims/survivors of domestic abuse.
