Job Description

Hours of work:

Teaching Assistant 27.5 hours plus Midday Supervisory Assistant 5 hours per week.
Working pattern:
Part-time, Term-time only working for
39 weeks per year plus
6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service.
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.
Fixed term for: 18 months

Our small, friendly and supportive school is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant 2 and Midday Supervisory Assistant from February 2026.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to work with a groups of pupils, understanding and using the group dynamics to promote group effectiveness and support group and individual performance
  • Have vision, energy and enthusiasm
  • Be able to motivate and inspire children and adults
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Have a good understanding of meeting the needs of vulnerable learners
  • Be committed to celebrating diversity and inclusion
  • Promote positive play at playtimes

We require a caring and conscientious person who will enjoy working as part of our dedicated staff team and who can commit to the ethos of our school. We strongly support the Growth Mindset values within our creative curriculum.
