We are looking to appoint a passionate and dynamic Teacher of English to join a thriving secondary school in Lewes
. This is a full-time position available for an immediate start. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality English Language and Literature lessons and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

• Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
• Plan creative and engaging lessons that stretch and challenge learners
• Use assessment effectively to track progress and raise attainment

• Support students of varying abilities, including those with additional needs
• Play an active role in the wider life of the school community

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has a degree in English or a related discipline
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language
