Pay: £130 £ 160 per day (paid to scale for any long term roles)

Hours:

8:30am 3:30pm

We are seeking enthusiastic Secondary Science Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming local schools in Lewes and the surrounding areas. Whether you specialise in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or general Science, we can tailor opportunities to suit your subject strengths and availability.

• A great way to return to teaching after a break
• Flexibility to work around family life or other commitments
• Choose full-time or part-time work
• Accept daily cover assignments that suit your availability
• Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities for Key Stage 5 if desired

• Delivering pre-planned Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Maintaining a positive, engaging, and safe laboratory classroom environment
• Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Adapting confidently to different school settings
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed during practical work

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Adaptability and professionalism
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
