Job Title: Qualified GCSE Maths & English Tutor

Location: Peacehaven, East Sussex, BN10

Pay Rate: £32-£35 per hour

Hours: 2 hours per week - Fridays 11:30am-1:30pm

Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced tutor to support a Year 11 student in Peacehaven (BN10). The role involves delivering GCSE Maths and English tuition to help strengthen subject knowledge and build confidence ahead of upcoming GCSE examinations. This is a face‑to‑face role within a school setting and would suit a committed, reliable educator who can provide structured and engaging support.

• Deliver 1:1 GCSE Maths and English tuition.
• Assess learning gaps and tailor sessions accordingly.
• Support exam preparation and revision strategies.
• Provide progress updates as required.

• Recognised Teaching Qualification (QTS or equivalent).
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (mandatory).
• Experience teaching GCSE Maths and English.
• Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and exam requirements.
• Professional, punctual and able to commit to weekly sessions.

Competitive hourly rate (£32-£35 per hour).
