About the Role

Press Play Films C.I.C is seeking a Warhammer enthusiast to support the delivery of a series of funded Warhammer workshops in Lewes this spring.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys both the craft (building, painting, modelling) and gaming aspects of Warhammer, and who is excited to share that enthusiasm with young people in a supportive, inclusive environment.
This is a hands‑on role supporting creative engagement, skill development, and confidence‑building through tabletop gaming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the setup and pack‑down of workshop materials and gaming tables
  • Supporting participants with building and painting miniatures
  • Helping explain gameplay rules in a clear, accessible way
  • Encouraging good sportsmanship and inclusive participation
  • Supporting a safe and welcoming workshop environment
  • Assisting the lead facilitator and another assistant from Press Play Films during sessions
About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is a genuine Warhammer fan. We use 40,000 at our workshops so this is essential knowledge.
  • Enjoys both modelling/painting and gameplay
  • Is patient, friendly and good at explaining things
  • Has experience working with young people
  • Values inclusion and understands that workshops may include neurodivergent participants
  • Is reliable and punctual
  • Has an in‑date DBS certificate or is happy to apply for one (we are happy to explain this process to you).
Desirable (but not essential)
  • Experience running games or hobby sessions
  • Youth work, mentoring, or teaching experience
  • First Aid or safeguarding training
