Nursery Assistant

Primary School Setting | Nursery Provision

Academics / Term Time Teachers are currently recruiting for a qualified CACHE Level 3 Nursery Assistant to work within the nursery provision of a welcoming primary school based in Lewes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive primary school environment, working closely with the Early Years team to provide high-quality care and education to nursery-aged children.

The Role:

Supporting children within the Nursery class

Delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework

Supporting children's early development, learning, and social skills

Assisting with observations and contributing to learning journals

Promoting a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

Working collaboratively with the class teacher and Early Years staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A CACHE Level 3 qualification (or equivalent Early Years qualification)

Previous experience supporting nursery-aged children

A strong understanding of the EYFS framework

A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach

Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
