Location: East Grinstead & Surrounding Areas
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time – Flexible Days
Daily Rate: £89.05 – £110
Hours: School hours (typically 08:30 – 15:30)

We’re seeking dedicated Behaviour Support Assistants to work with pupils in primary and secondary schools across East Grinstead. This role offers the chance to make a genuine difference by helping children regulate their emotions, stay engaged in learning, and build the confidence they need to thrive.
- Providing 1:1 or small-group behaviour support to pupils with SEMH or additional needs
- Helping students remain focused, calm, and positively involved in school activities
- Supporting teachers with routines, classroom management, and behaviour strategies
- Encouraging positive behaviour choices and promoting emotional resilience
- Creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels supported and understood
- Adapting to different school settings and individual pupil requirements
- Experience working with children or young people (education, care, SEN, youth work, etc.)
- A calm, consistent, and empathetic approach
- Confidence supporting challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques
- A genuine desire to help children grow, learn, and reach their potential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Flexible working to fit around your lifestyle
