SEN Teaching Assistant - Make a Difference in Infant School! (Crawley)

Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant ready to make a real difference in the lives of young learners?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our supportive team at a mainstream school in Crawley, West Sussex. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work across the entire infant school, supporting students in EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) through Year 2. You will be providing essential 1:1 support to a student with additional needs while also assisting teachers in various classrooms.

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met.
• Assist across classrooms in EYFS, Reception, Year 1, and Year 2, ensuring all students are fully supported and engaged in their learning.
• Collaborate closely with the class teachers and SENCO to implement effective learning strategies.
• Help foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment, promoting independence and engagement for all students.
• Provide regular feedback and updates on the student's progress to teachers and parents.

• Possesses previous experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting within an infant school environment.
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Is committed to the well‑being and progress of every child.
