SEMH Learning Support Assistant – Seaford Full-time | September Start | Long-term Opportunity | £90-100 per day

We are working with a specialist SEMH provision in Seaford that supports primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional social, emotional and behavioural needs, helping them thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

We welcome applications from candidates with a range of experience. Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, trauma, attachment needs or challenging behaviour is highly desirable, but training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.

• Have experience supporting children or young people with additional needs, SEMH or challenging behaviour.
• Be confident implementing positive behaviour management strategies.

• Bring a positive, energetic and approachable attitude while maintaining clear boundaries.
• Be committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Helping pupils regulate their emotions and remain engaged in learning
• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well‑being
• Supporting learning across a range of subjects
