Primary Supply Teachers

Primary Supply Teachers are sought by Teach South to support primary schools across Peacehaven from September. This temporary, flexible role offers daily rates of £130-£150, with full-time and part-time assignments available to match your schedule.

Covering EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, you will handle pre-booked and same-day bookings, teaching across various year groups.

Responsibilities include delivering prepared lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and adapting swiftly to different school environments.

A dedicated local consultant provides ongoing support, and registration is straightforward.

Experienced educators and Early Career Teachers are equally welcome to apply, making this an accessible route into local supply teaching.

Ideal candidates possess strong adaptability, clear communication, and a commitment to maintaining high teaching standards across Peacehaven’s schools.

Teach South Sussex is currently recruiting Primary Supply Teachers to join our team for schools in Peacehaven and the surrounding areas from September.

We work closely with a number of local primary schools, offering flexible teaching opportunities to suit your availability.

Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, or longer-term placements, we have a variety of full-time and part-time roles available throughout the academic year.

You’ll have the opportunity to teach across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with both pre-booked and same-day assignments available.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to travel within the local area
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
