  Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required Luma Education Recruitment is recruiting for a Part-Time Learning Mentor to provide 1:1 educational, pastoral and practical support to a young person in Swindon.

This is a varied role for someone who can combine learning, mentoring, sport and practical activities to keep a young person engaged and motivated outside of a traditional classroom environment.

You will support with schoolwork and learning, while also using PE, sport, outdoor activities and interests such as football and fishing to build engagement, confidence and positive routines.

• Provide structure and encouragement while keeping learning practical and engaging Provide structure and encouragement while keeping learning practical and engaging We're looking for an active, positive and reliable Learning Mentor who enjoys working 1:1 and can bring energy and creativity to the role.

This could suit someone with experience as a Learning Mentor, Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Sports Coach, PE Assistant, Youth Worker, Tutor or Education Support Worker.

Experience supporting young people with SEN, SEMH, behaviour or additional learning needs would be advantageous.

A full UK driving licence and Enhanced DBS on the Update Service are essential.
