Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Paid travel + Company vehicle access

Hailsham (Commutable from Laughton, Lewes, Brighton, Eastbourne, surrounding areas)

Are you a hands‑on Field Service Engineer looking to build specialist skills, gain recognised training, and work with advanced equipment?

This business is a long‑established engineering manufacturer operating in a specialist scientific niche. They invest heavily in their people, promote internally, and support engineers with proper training, mentoring, and realistic workloads.

On offer is a varied field role covering installation, fault‑finding, servicing, and customer support on complex electro‑mechanical systems. You'll work independently, represent the business on‑site, and continuously develop your technical capability across new technologies.

• Install, service and repair scientific instruments across the UK and internationally
• Diagnose and repair faults to agreed turnaround times
• Monday – Friday, days‑based role with some UK and international travel

• Proven hands‑on experience with mechanical/electrical systems
• Confident using hand tools, mustimeters and test equipment
• Full UK Driving Licence and valid Passport
