This Accountant role in Brighton is all about keeping financial records in order and ensuring compliance with regulations. You'll play a key part in helping the business manage its finances efficiently in the professional services industry.

Client Details

This role is based in a professional services organisation located in Brighton.

Description

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Analyse financial data to support decision-making processes.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
Provide financial advice and insights to stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

A recognised accounting qualification (ACA or CIMA)
post qualification experience (2-3 years)
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to analyse financial data and present clear insights.
Effective communication skills for working with stakeholders
