Financial Planning Assistant

This role has been designed as a development position for a talented individual who wants to build a long-term career in financial planning.

• Structured progression to gain experience as a Financial Planning Assistant
• Ongoing support towards the Chartered Financial Planner (or equivalent) qualification
• Direct exposure to client meetings and Financial Planner interactions
• Mentoring from experienced Financial Planners

This is not a role where you will be confined to administration. You will be actively involved in all aspects of the financial planning process, developing both technical expertise and client relationship skills.

• Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a paraplanner
• Diploma qualified
• Studying towards, or keen to pursue, further professional financial planningqualifications
• Passionate about delivering exceptional client service
• Interested in developing both technical knowledge and client-facing skills
• Looking for genuine career progression and long-term opportunities
• Is prepared to be mainly office based so we can provide the necessary training

• Years 1 & 2 building on existing Financial Planning Assistant skills
• Years 3,4 & 5 working towards & gaining Chartered status
• Year 5 onwards – migrating into full-time Chartered Financial Planner role, taking leads and direct responsibility for clients

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 depending on level of experience
