- Inside IR35 Hybrid 3 months My client is an instantly recognizable consultancy who require a Senior Azure Consultant to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of the migration of existing Forti Gate virtual firewalls to Azure Firewall across multiple global Azure regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end solution definition, inventory Forti Gate policies, NAT, routing, traffic flows, and dependencies; run workshops and secure design sign-off. Define Azure Firewall design in Azure Virtual WAN (regional hub/spoke), including cross-region inspection, segmentation (north-south/east-west), and integration patterns. Establish global base and regional child firewall policies, including governance, rule lifecycle, recertification, and compliance alignment. Translate and rationalise Forti Gate rules into Azure Firewall Policy, address feature gaps with compensating controls, and deliver reusable Terraform modules with Git-based change control.

Own UDR/BGP/vWAN routing, Express Route considerations, public IP/SNAT capacity planning, SKU sizing, and integrations (Zscaler, Front Door, App Gateway). Define migration strategy/runbooks, manage cutover/rollback and validation, implement logging/SOC integration (Sentinel), lead hypercare, and handover to BAU with documentation and knowledge transfer.
