Cover Cleaner

About the Role

The days and hours:
This is a zero-hours Cleaning role, designed to support operational cover across our sites. No minimum hours are guaranteed, and shifts will be offered based on business needs. We are looking for someone who is flexible and able to support with ad hoc cover when available. You will have the flexibility to accept or decline shifts offered.

Hourly Rate: £12.71

Location: Covering multiple sites across Lewes and surrounding areas.

• Dedicating time on site to go the extra mile and meet Atlas clients' needs.
• Inducted at the start of your contract and trained within the first week with Atlas's cleaning specification and equipment usage.
• Providing a high standard of customer care across different shift hours.
• Handling site-based equipment and cleaning materials (full training provided).
• Replenishing consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and bin liners.
• Emptying all litter bins into appropriate waste & recycling containers.
• Ensuring cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times.
• Maintaining Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Working within a supportive team.

• All you need is a positive and thoughtful approach; cleaning experience is not required but an attitude to thrive is.
• Ability to handle the physical aspects of the role.
• Basic level of spoken English for safety communication.
• Good social skills and a smile for service delivery.
• A right to work in the UK (bring evidence to interview).
• Basic DBS check required for the setting.
