The Role

Our nationwide Plant and Tool division hires a range of equipment including diggers, dumpers and small hand tools to our customers across the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.

  • Run day‑to‑day operations of the Hire Desk and Transport services, ensuring customer requirements are exceeded and sales revenue increases.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of Hire & Sales Coordinators and Drivers, fostering a customer‑focused approach.
  • Ensure health & safety processes are adhered to at all times.
  • Monitor hire activity levels, produce monthly revenue and productivity reports, and identify opportunities for improvement.
About You
  • Significant experience working in a high‑volume sales role, preferably within the plant hire or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high‑performing team.
  • Ability to engage with customers at all levels in pursuit of increasing sales revenue and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office packages, including Word and Excel.
