The Role
We are recruiting an Electronics Repairs Technician to join a growing repairs and manufacturing environment based in Lewes.

This is a hands-on role focused on component-level electronics repair, fault-finding, and testing. You will work on electronic assemblies, diagnosing faults, carrying out SMT and through-hole rework, and ensuring repaired units meet defined quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies to component level
SMT and through-hole soldering and rework
Identify root cause of faults, not just symptoms
Functional testing of repaired units
Soak and load testing where required
Maintain accurate repair and test records
Work to defined quality, safety, and technical standards
Required Experience

HNC / HND / OND in Electronics or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years’ electronics repair, test, or manufacturing experience
Strong analogue and digital electronics knowledge
Confident reading schematics and circuit diagrams
Experience using common electronic test equipment
High attention to detail and methodical working style
Desirable

IPC certification (IPC-AJ-STD-001)
SMT rework station experience
Manufacturing or repairs-centre background
